Well.....I thought they would do it.

I thought the Rays had a shot to beat the Phillies but when your hot streak goes cold in the World Series....you don't really make it that far.

The entire World Series was a wash for me. Watching this team all year you get a feel of how the team will do down the stretch. BUT, when Carlos Pena and Evan Longoria go 0-29....the rest is history.

There is always next year....and I know that sounds like a typical fan....but when you get to the biggest game in baseball you can't help but feel optimistic about spring training.

A special RIP for my buddy Russ Yoder. He was a lifer fan for the Tampa Bay Rays and a great friend. I am sorry you never got to use your World Series - Game 2 tickets my friend....But I think you had a better seat than everyone else. Be sure to help God out with his Fantasy football and Nascar picks.....you were always the best at it !!
